Wanstead Church School need your help. They’re taking part in this year’s Aviva Community Fund to bid for £5,000 for their reflection garden project. You can see their project here and vote.
The school want to create an inclusive, quiet space in the playground where children can go if they need peace – specifically for any pupils with SEMH and sensory needs. It’ll be wheelchair accessible too. Even if your child doesn’t go to Wanstead Church School they’d love your vote, as ours is a small school with a fantastic parent community that will be disproportionately affected by education budget cuts.
It’s a public vote and the projects with the votes go through to the next stage. You do need to register to vote if you’ve not done this before but you won’t be plagued with spam, promise!
