Sunday mornings

Eucharist Children and family service, ideal for children 0-6s

9am at Christ Church

This mix of Eucharistic worship, songs and fun is ideal for pre-school children up to and including Year One (aged 6) with their families and carers but all are welcome. The worship is always friendly and informal. The service lasts for approximately 35 minutes followed by refreshments in the hall.

This short video gives a lovely snapshot of the service.

Traditional Sung Eucharist

1030am at Christ Church

A traditional Sung Eucharist ideally suited for those looking for a more formal service with a robed choir, an altar serving team, incense and sermon. Children from 7+ years have the option to go off to Junior Church, where we offer age-appropriate teaching in a fun and relaxed setting, before joining the service again for communion. Refreshments are served in the hall at 9.40 am or after the service at 11 am, providing a great opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends. Again, all are very welcome.

Sunday morning services at St Mary’s

11.00am at St Mary’s

We offer a wide range of services at St Mary’s. On the first Sunday of each month there is a Sung Choral Eucharist at 11.00 am, on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays we offer lay led Matins services with hymns at 11.00 am and on the third Saturday of each month we offer Said Morning Prayer at 10 am. Every third Sunday of the month there is no service at St Mary’s as we come together to worship at Christ Church for a combined Choral Eucharist service at 10am.
