Crypt Tours at St Mary's are back!

The hotly awaited tours of the Crypt underneath St Mary's will be BACK as part of Wanstead Fringe 2025!

Tours will run between 7th - 28th September 2025:

• Sunday 7th - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
• Thursday 11th - 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm
• Saturday 13th - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
• Thursday 18th - 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm
• Friday 19th - 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm
• Saturday 20th - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
• Sunday 21st - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
• Thursday 25th - 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm
• Friday 26th - 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm
• Saturday 27th - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
• Sunday 28th - 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Tickets will be available to purchase from www.wansteadfringe.org  

Come and gaze into Wanstead’s past, and hear about the people who lived here in Georgian times in the many mansions that existed then, and of course Wanstead House.
Tours leave promptly on the hour, and take 45-50 minutes; the beautiful church will also be open, visitors are advised to visit the church too before the tour.

Note: access is restricted, there is no disabled access to the crypt.
