Parish Office

The Parish Office is the main point of contact for any information regarding the parish. Our Parish Manager is Mrs Lorraine Bucknall. The office, situated at Christ Church, is open at the following times:

Mondays (term-time only): 9am-3pm
Tuesdays: 9am-3pm
Wednesdays: 9am-3pm
Fridays: 9am-1pm

Rector

Fr James Gilder is the Rector of Wanstead. You can find out more about him by clicking here. The Rector is the priest who is in charge of the parish and who has overall responsibility for ministry here.

If you would like to talk to Fr James or another member of the clergy, it is usually a good idea to contact the Parish Office. Fr James can also be contacted personally by email or in an emergency he can be contacted on 07729 109638.

Baptisms and Weddings

Our baptisms and weddings co-ordinator is Mrs Jan Andrews. Jan is happy to talk to anyone interested in getting married in Wanstead, or having their child baptised, or being baptised themselves as an adult.  Jan can be reached by clicking on this e-mail link.
