Children & Youth
We are delighted to offer a variety of engaging and nurturing groups tailored to children and young teens.
Our dedicated teams have created safe and welcoming spaces where young people of all ages can explore, learn, and grow in their faith. We believe in fostering a strong sense of community and values-based learning that empowers our young members to embrace their spirituality and flourish in their journey of faith.

Primary-age children
Junior Church meets each week at 9.30am in the Parish Hall and is for ages 5-11. It is run by our youth worker, Lizzy, who has lots of experience in making church fun for young people. We learn about the Bible by doing fun games and activities.
You can register for Junior Church by turning up at the Parish Hall at 9.30am.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we all stay in the main service, which is a Eucharist service for all the family.

Little people!
Nursery Church is our popular Sunday morning church for 0-5 year olds and their parents and carers.
We meet most Sundays at the Parish Halls at Christ Church from 9.30am with picture books and toys, ready to start at 9.45am. The service is normally led by members of the clergy team, and involves fun songs, activities, stories and much more. It is a place where little ones can be as loud and playful as they like, and we welcome the slight chaos that this brings! At 10.20am we go over to the church together to receive communion or a blessing, joining in with the final hymn and then coming back to the hall for coffee and more toys.
You would be very welcome to join us for this service if you have young children. Please feel free to just come along one week to see what it is all about!
On the fourth Sunday of every month instead of Nursery Church, we have a Family Eucharist service in Christ Church, which starts at 9.30am.
